Since the entire platform of this website is about quality, educated and experienced managers, it is only fair that we tell you of our expertise and how we determined the need for this revolutionary change.
We have been managing community associations and taxing districts in Florida for twenty-eight years. We have owned a management company since 1998 when we signed our first client. That client is still with us today.
We have strived over the years to educate ourselves in every field that community management touches such as landscape maintenance, irrigation, insurance, reserves, legal, lakes & ponds, accounting and many more! Any truly great community manager needs to educate themselves outside of and in addition to the standard industry training.
We have watched and listened for years as client associations tell us of their dismay with the process and how they did not have an opportunity to interview either the initial manager or any of the replacement managers when the company moved them around.
We felt there had to be a better way and since you can review the backgrounds and education of your doctors, lawyers and plumbers, it must be time to know the experience and education of your community’s manager.
We don’t expect the support of many of our peers in the management industry as this takes away a little of their flexibility, however, every community association Board member I have discussed this with has been wildly enthusiastic!
